Plymouth man who died in Totnes crash named
A man who died after his car collided with a tree on 14 February has been named as 47-year-old Richard Golborn from Plymouth.
Mr Golborn is thought to have been travelling from Totnes towards Avonwick on the A385 when his vehicle, a black Ford Focus, left the road and collided with a tree shortly before 2pm.
Police said he was the only occupant of the car and that no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The injuries he received proved to be fatal.
The road was closed until around 8.45pm while police investigated the cause of the collision.
A Devon & Cornwall Police spokesman said members of the public assisted with first aid at the scene.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the car travelling shortly before the crash.
