Princess Theatre Christmas panto cast announcement

Back by popular demand, Michael Neilson and Matthew Curnier are returning to Torquay for this years Christmas panto, Sleeping Beauty!

This will be Michael's third year back at the Princess Theatre, Torquay having starred as Dame Derriere in Beauty and the Beast in 2023, Dame Trott in Jack and the Beanstalk in 2024. He returns to Torquay this Christmas as Nurse Nellie.

Michael said: "I'm so excited to be heading back to Torquay for Christmas. The audiences at the Princess Theatre are always up for a laugh and there will certainly be more of those to come this Christmas - I can't wait"

Matthew Curnier heads back to Torquay for his second season after playing Silly Billy in Jack and the Beanstalk last year he has already become a favourite with younger audiences. He said "I had such fun last year. To be by the sea at Christmas was magical! I just know we are going to have some proper family fun this Panto season"

The Princess Theatre, Torquay changed their Pantomime producers to Jordan Productions in 2023 and audiences have been raving about the new shows ever since. Jordan Productions was established in 1993 to produce high quality pantomimes and Christmas productions for medium and large scale venues so were a perfect choice for the Princess Theatre, Torquay.
