Devon housebuilder makes Easter donation to local foodbank
Regional housebuilder Allison Homes South West has celebrated Easter by donating over 30 chocolate eggs to a local foodbank.
In the run up to Easter, the housebuilder held a collection amongst the staff at its head office in Tiverton and was able to donate a total of 31 eggs to Churches Housing Action Team (CHAT).
CHAT has been supporting those facing housing challenges across Mid Devon and helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and hope for 30 years. The organisation offers free support and advice on housing, debt and money, in addition to practical support from the foodbank and pantry, and supply of household items.
This is the second time Allison Homes South West has supported the charity at Easter, following a donation of 22 eggs in 2024.
Holly Sutton, Fundraising and Development Manager for CHAT, said: “Thank you to Allison Homes for the wonderful donation of Easter eggs and for bringing a smile to the faces of the people we support in our local community.”
Caroline Lunness, Sales Manager at Allison Homes South West, said: “We were delighted to come together as a company and contribute to a good cause. CHAT is an incredibly important organisation in the area, and we were proud to support them with this donation.
“We hope everyone enjoys the eggs and look forward to finding further opportunities to give back to the communities we build in going forward.”
