Find a Winter Wonderland at your library

Plymouth libraries are counting down to Christmas with stories, crafts and puppet shows that are guaranteed to get families feeling festive.

Children aged five to 11 can snuggle up and enjoy some polar storytelling and heart-warming stories of winter, with cosy favourites such as Big Bear, Little Bear by Jane Chapmen and Oliver Jeffers’ Lost and Found.

There are cool craft activities, with a chance to make polar bears and snowmen and Good News Puppets will be performing traditional nativity shows at selected libraries.

You can also borrow festive picture books and DVDs from any library in Plymouth this winter.

Make a visit with your child on or before Saturday 13 December and you could win a family skate at the Winter Wonderland ice rink on the city centre piazza. Just leave your details with library staff and you will be entered into a draw to win the prize, donated by Ice Angels Events.
