The Lone Pine Club is a new play for children aged 7-12 and their families. The play follows a group of children having riotous adventures in the countryside. The production takes place inside a large tent (rain-proof!) pitched in the grounds of National Trust venues across the country.
The production is directed by Elizabeth Freestone. Elizabeth has been working as a director for 14 years. During her freelance theatre directing career she has worked the National Theatre and the RSC. She became Artistic Director of Pentabus in 2012.
Police are investigating a serious collision on the A386 near Yelverton in which two male drivers were injured.
Officers were called shortly before 2.40pm on Tuesday 2 June after reports of a two-vehicle collision halfway between the Yelverton roundabout and the junction for The Rock.
The fire service attended as one of the drivers was reported to be trapped.
