The Spring Exhibition is being supported by local businesses, Marchand Petit , Straker Financial Services and Devon Cove Vodka and is showcasing paintings by Colin Allbrook , Simon Ashby , Judith Cummings , Mark Fielding , Marilyn Wedgwood-Johnson, Tony Williams and sculpture by Andrew Thomas .

Nicolas Moreton is one of the most exciting stone sculptors living and working in Britain today.

Described as “A modern master of the medium of stone carving” by Art Critic Tim Marlow, Nicolas believes that it is the intimate conversation you have between the stone, tool and mind that allows the sculpture to possess a personality and a voice. A cultural magpie, Nicolas continually seeks different ways to present the elemental form of the human body, binding the past with the present, and anchoring it in nature through both tradition and ancient ritual.

A major new touring exhibition, which challenges the male-dominated narratives of post-war British sculpture by presenting a diverse and significant range of ambitious work by women.

Breaking the Mould is the first major survey of post-war British sculpture by women. Presented across St Luke’s, The Box, and The Levinsky Gallery, University of Plymouth, the exhibition surveys 75 years and explores the work of over 40 sculptors. Poignant sculpture of Captain Sir Tom Moore will support Cornwall Hospice Care
