Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses after a man was found seriously injured in the road in the early hours of Thursday 10 September.

A local man in his 40s was found with serious head injuries on Old Wolseley Road at around 2.10am.

A member of the public saw him lying in the road between the chip shop and Saltash passage, at the junction with Foulston Avenue....

Police are trying to trace the owner(s) of two mountain bikes that are believed to have been stolen in Plymouth.

The Scott YZ2 Project Octagon and Scott 30 mountain bikes (pictured) were recovered by police following the arrest of a 46-year-old man on Wednesday 2 September in the city.
