On Saturday 25 April a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal. It severely shook the lives of at least 8m people and left many homeless. British Red Cross Shop Drop for Nepal

The British Red Cross is today (Thursday 30 April) launching ‘Shop Drop for Nepal’ to give people another way to donate to its Nepal Earthquake Appeal.

The Red Cross is appealing to people to clear out their wardrobes and cupboards and donate their unwanted clothes and goods to their local Red Cross shop.

Red Cross aid workers arrive in Nepal

British Red Cross aid workers are arriving in the region to assess the damage wreaked by the devastating 7.9 scale earthquake, which struck just outside the Nepalese capital on Saturday.
