Plymouth's own 'Double Denim' make Salute Music Makers top 100
Plymouth's own 'Double Denim' have just been chosen for the Top 100 of revolutionary music competition Salute Music Makers, in for a chance of winning £50,000 in cash and a place in the final of the Unsigned Music Awards, no strings attached.
Salute Music Makers offers musicians across the UK the opportunity to change their musical career entirely, without the unfair attachments that come with the many UK music competitions. With The Undertones’ Feargal Sharkey facing the competition and legendary curators such as Ras Kwame, Fiona Bevan and Kwame Kwaten, Salute will offer these music makers a step into the music industry like no other music competition.
Plymouth based band Double Denim will be in for a chance of winning the Salute Music Makers title through the world’s biggest social media platform, Facebook. An interactive bot on Facebook messenger will be open to the public on September 26th for them to listen to the Top 100 and construct a winning playlist, which will form the finalists by October 27th. You can register to vote now by heading to the Salute Music website and show Double Denim your support.
