Christmas at Redlake
Over 50 artists, crafters, bakers, wood turners, hobbyists, jewellers and more will be on offer at the launch event of Redlake in the South Hams this weekend.
The Christmas extravaganza takes place between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 13th December and promises to have something for everyone.
This historical building sits between Bittaford and Ivybridge and is seen as a hub for all communities within a radius comprising the South Hams and Plymouth. The former clay building, with its distinctive chimney stack will be dressed for Christmas by the custodians of the building, The Eddystone Trust charity.
There will also be children’s activities including pony rides, crafty corners, Santa on his sleigh and a food court with mulled wine, mince pies, hog roast and so many other tasty morsels. There will be a fantastic Christmas raffle too.
The building is run by Eddystone Trust and throughout the year will be hosting many different types of events both for the community and a wider field – both public and corporate. Redlake Estate is on the main road out of Ivybridge and before Bittaford and will form a hub for those two areas as well as Totnes, Kingsbridge, Newton Abbot, Ashburton, Tavistock, South Brent, Exeter and the Riviera.
There is free parking and free entrance for all and further information can be found on the “Christmas at Redlake” Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1249449725081476/
