The Plymouth Daily is not only independent of any major publisher, it is free to use.

Our sister site The Exeter Daily launched back in October last year. It has really caught the imagination of local people and continues to grow its audience on a daily basis. It has even received a nomination for Digital News Service of the Year in the upcoming National Newspaper Awards alongside The Guardian, The Sunday Times and The Huffington Post.

The team behind both The Exeter and Plymouth Daily have a strong track record in publishing and commerce. This is a business that will be run for people at the heart of the community. We will endeavour to work in a collaborative way and encourage contributions from our users - individuals, businesses, communitites, organisations - offering a positive outlook on our city and the wider Devon and regional landscape. It will be built on the values of honesty, trust and transparency and will support local causes and institutions.
