Police seek man in connection with attempted Asda trolley shoplift
Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a shoplifting attempt at a Plymouth supermarket.
A man entered Asda in Miller Way, Estover, around 6pm on 18 July and selected almost £270 of various foods.
He tried to leave the shop with the trolley of food but was stopped by a store security officer. He then abandoned the trolley and ran off.
Police are seeking a suspect who is described as white, aged around 35, approximately 6ft to 6ft 3ins tall, with a sun tan and short black hair. He was wearing a stripy short-sleeved polo shirt and beige shorts.
