Let There Be Light

At a recent meeting with Prebendary Robert Harris of St Marys Church Plympton, Nicky Ball Deputy Provincial Grand Master of the Devonshire Freemasons accompanied by his wife Gill and Assistant Provincial Grand Master Andy Vodden presented him with a cheque for £2,000.

The cheque is from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Devonshire Benevolent Fund and was donated to help with the refurbishment of the Church and its lighting system. This is necessary as the old system was failing but the Church also intends to develop facilities for the community of Plympton.

Nicky Ball was delighted to present this cheque from the Benevolent Fund and to thank the Church for its intention to refurbish and support the community as it moves forward.

The Freemasons of Devonshire hold an annual Carol Service, one year at Exeter Cathedral where last year the congregation exceeded 600 freemasons and their families and on the 10th December 2023 they will hopefully encourage even more to participate in this years’ service being held at St. Mary’s Church in Plympton.
