Devon and Cornwall Police are looking for new members to join their community focus panel and help inform decisions made by the police.

The panel has been established to help increase consultation with residents on the various subjects affecting the force.

As a panel member you will be contacted via email and invited to take part in online surveys.

The subject areas will vary, for example questions may be asked on the perceptions of single/double crewing on foot patrol or the visibility of police officers depending on what information the force requires.  All responses to the surveys will be treated in confidence.

Superintendent Phil Kennedy said: “The community focus panel is an excellent way to directly engage with our residents and for them to communicate their thoughts and feelings with us on many of the issues facing our force.

“We would like the panel to be representative of the two counties and comprise of a diverse range of residents, so as long as you are over 16 and resident of Devon, Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly, we would like to hear from you.”
