Creatures great and small at Devon's Crealy
A menagerie of creatures great and very small will scuttle into Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park in Exeter on Friday 28 March for the official opening of the brand new attraction, Bugz Unlimited.
The new attractions represent part of a £1 million investment in the Park’s 25th anniversary year and will officially be opened by TV Wildlife Presenter, Nick Baker.
Guests can explore a world of interesting creepy crawlies in Bugz Unlimited, with a Leaf Cutter Ant display and other fascinating creatures including a giant African land snail, Chilean Rose Tarantula, Jungle Nymph Stick Insects, Madagascan hissing cockroaches and much more. With a range of Close Encounters Sessions, visitors can dare to be brave and get very close to some of these extraordinary insects!
The new attraction will also offer younger guests the chance to get creative with art sessions at The Animal Making Station.
Launching on 5 April is Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park’s new Keeper for the Day experience. Guests can get up close and personal with some of Crealy’s most loved residents. By becoming a Crealy animal keeper for the day guests will help across the park with various animal duties, from grooming the ponies, learning to care for the guinea pigs to feeding the meerkats and meeting the wallabies. These unique experiences offer guests a once in a lifetime chance to get close to the animals while learning about their habitats. Individual charges apply for each experience.
Also on 5th April, children and families can take to the sky with brand new ride, The Flying Machine, while young children will be entertained by personal appearances and mini shows from both Postman Pat on 9th April and Peppa Pig on 16th April. Jungle Jim will host his ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ show on 18th April.
