Success for Plympton Academy Football Academy

The first cohort of players in the Plympton Academy Year 7 Football Academy are celebrating being unbeaten in the Plymouth League.

“The team refuse to be beaten,” said Manager and PE teacher, Richard Harvey. “Every single player is helping the team stay at the top.”

The youngsters have had some fantastic cup success recently too. They came first in the Plymouth Cup and third in the Devon FUTSAL cup.

"The boys commitment has been excellent and with the addition of the brand new 3G all weather pitch the Academy is only going to from strength to strength,” said Richard Harvey.

Year 7 goalkeeper, Callum Trevelevan said: “The extra training and amount of competitions we get entered into is amazing, every training session is fun and we keep improving.”
