Generous donation to Derriford’s children’s wards from Sainsbury’s customers and staff

Thanks to a generous donation from customers and staff at Sainsbury’s, children staying on our wards will have lots of new toys and games to play with.

Last week, representatives from Sainsbury’s Marsh Mills Store, Grace Evans and Pam Tremayne, came up to the hospital’s Activity Centre on level 12, with the large donation. The toys were donated by the store’s customers and staff during their toy event at the end of October.

Sam Cartwright, Play Specialist, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Sainsbury’s Marsh Mills and their customers for this generous donation. The toys and games are much appreciated and I’m sure will be very popular with the children.”
