Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
This Christmas, Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph and Duncan James from Blue will lead the cast of this year’s magical Christmas show Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the fairest pantomime in all the land!
Following the hugely successful return of Birds of a Feather to our television screens last year, one of the nation’s best-loved actresses Lesley Joseph will star as The Wicked Queen.
Lesley has been seen in numerous plays and musicals, in the West End and on tour, including Calendar Girls, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Annie, as well as on countless television and radio programmes. On television she has appeared in Night and Day, What Not to Wear, My Bare Lady, Ready, Steady, Cook, Celebrity Come Dine with Me and more recently Strictly Come Dancing.
Playing The Prince is singer-songwriter, television presenter, actor and all-round entertainer Duncan James. Best-known as a member of the band Blue, which reformed in 2009 following a four-year break, Duncan has appeared in the West End in Chicago and Legally Blonde, and has appeared on numerous television programmes, including Soapstar Superstar and Dancing on Ice where he made it to the final. Last year Duncan was seen in a new ITV show Blue Go Mad in Ibiza and starred as Tick in Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical at various theatres across the UK.
The Theatre Royal Plymouth’s magical production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, fabulous costumes and stunning sets plus, as audiences have come to expect from the South West’s number one pantomime, plenty of audience participation.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is staged by the world’s biggest pantomime producer, Qdos Entertainment, who bring with them a reputation for large-scale shows packed with special effects, family-friendly comedy and world-class production values.
