Music: English Art Song

For their second concert of the season, the University of Plymouth Choral Society returns to English vocal music of the early 20th Century. 

A beautiful programme of Choral part songs, solos and duets from the Edwardian era – the flowering of English art song - by composers such as Elgar, Vaughan-Williams, Quilter and Stanford with additional more modern offshoots.

 

Featuring UPCS, Sarah Jane Brandon (soprano), Nicky Spence (tenor) and Mary Mazur-Park (piano).
