The Dante Quartet exclusive festival preview
Calstock Arts is delighted to announce a special preview concert by the Dante Quartet at The Old Chapel, in advance of their Summer Festival in July.
The concert entitled Dreams and Debussy provides an opportunity to sample the delights of the festival programme in advance. However, this performance comes with a bonus: prior to playing wonderful quartet music by Haydn, Kodaly and Debussy, the musicians will present a light-hearted pre-concert entertainment of solos and duets, including music by Mozart and Beethoven. This will begin at 7.15pm, leaving time to enjoy a glass of wine before the main concert at 8pm.
The main programme consists:
Haydn – Quartet op 50 no 5 in F, ‘the Dream’.
Kodaly – Quartet no 1 in C minor.
Debussy – Quartet in G minor.
A unique opportunity not to be missed.
Doors open at 6.30pm, start time 7.15pm.
£13 in advance, £14 on the door, £12 Friends of Calstock Arts, £6 under 16′s.
