Ocean Studios Christmas Exhibition

For a chance to purchase some paintings and artistic gifts this Christmas; Ocean Studios, situated at Royal William Yard, is hosting a Christmas exhibition featuring work from artists based within the Studios, as well as a wide selection of original gifts, just in time for your Christmas shopping.

Over 60 artists have had the first opportunity to present their work to be selected for Plymouth’s Ocean Studios ‘inaugural residents’ show. Entitled The Christmas Show, the exhibition offers the chosen artists, from a range of different disciplines, the chance to not only display their work but also to sell it to the thousands of people who are likely to attend the show. The exhibition runs from 20 November to 23 December 2015 within the city’s Royal William Yard.

The work within The Christmas Show represents Ocean Studios’ fresh and invigorating mix of artists, photographers and designer makers at every stage of their career journey with work including painting, sculpture, jewellery, fine art and textiles. The selected artists include Cassi Agazzi-Brooks, Tessa Jane, Jodie Hansen, Margaret Murdoch, Adele Retter, Matt Tomas, Tim Pearse and Jack-Carberry-Todd.

The Christmas Show is open to the public from 12-5pm, Wednesday – Saturday of each week until Wednesday 23rd December. (The gallery is not open to the public from Sundays to Tuesdays).
