Introduction to Stonemasonry course at Castle Drogo

Introduction to Stonemasonry - 2 day workshop, 7-8 May, 10am - 5pm At: Castle Drogo. £60/£50    Dartmoor Arts and Devon Guild are running a comprehensive introduction to the skills, techniques, tools and purposes of stonemasonry with 2 experienced tutors: Trevor Clarke and Ben Martin. In the inspiring setting of Castle Drogo, you will learn how to use and maintain tools, practice masonry and letter carving techniques and you can work on a project of your own: carve an inscription or a 3D piece, or both.
