Comic art masterclass With comic writer and artist Kev F Sutherland

Make a comic in a morning with Kev F Sutherland, writer and artist from Beano and Marvel comics.

All you’ll need is a few sheets of A4 paper, pencils, and pens if you’ve got them. At the end of this live session everyone will finish with a caricature drawn by Kev, and comic cover designed together with Kev and sent to you. You’ll also learn to create your very own character and draw a page of comics, all in two fun-filled hours via Zoom.

Kev F is best known for his work in The Beano, including Bash Street Kids Adventures, Bananaman and Pansy Potter. He has also worked for Marvel comics, Doctor Who, and many more. His latest graphic novels are Shakespearian adaptations with a twist, Findlay Macbeth, Prince of Denmark Street, and Midsummer Night's Dream Team.
