South Hams Police crack down on drugs

Police officers from South Hams are cracking down on the use of drugs in pubs by carrying out random tests using specially trained dogs.

They made unannounced visits to a number of pubs in Totnes and Dartmouth and had the full support of the licensees.

The operation resulted in a number of searches and one individual was issued with a Cannabis warning.

Plymouth solicitor closes adding to over 1,000 solicitor firms closed in the last year

Thornleys Solicitors of Plymouth closed on Monday ending 32 years of serving the Plymouth, Plymstock and South Hams communities.15 staff have been made redundant.
