Panto comes to children’s wards

There were many smiles on faces and lots of laughter on our children’s wards before Christmas, as they cheered, booed and hissed their way through Starlight’s Christmas Panto.

Plymouth's Theatre Royal has announced a search to find two teams of young stars for its upcoming production of Robin Hood .

Local star of radio and pantomime Douglas Mounce dies

The BBC have reported the death from cancer of the Radio Devon presenter Douglas ("Dougie") Mounce. He was 65.

A familiar voice across Devon's airwaves for nearly 30 years, Douglas Mounce also spent many seasons in pantomime, regularly playing the role of the dame and often spoke of his love for the stage.
