Plymouth Police have launched a week of action to target offenders and engage with the public in the city, waterfront and Stonehouse neighbourhoods.

Neighbourhood teams are running a series of operations under the umbrella name of Operation Vary from today until 16 February.

Police are appealing for information after a house was burgled in Rogate Drive, Estover.

The burglary happened between 8.30pm on Friday 24 January and noon on Sunday 26 January.

Appeal after Southway street robbery in Plymouth

Police are investigating a street robbery that took place on Inchkeith Road in the Southway area of Plymouth this week.

The incident took place around 2.15pm on Tuesday 19 November. A woman was allegedly approached from behind and a man grabbed £500 in cash from her coat pocket which had just been withdrawn from a nearby bank.

Three men sentenced for failed ecstasy plot

Jon Curtis, 41, Mohammed Habib, 30, and Samson MacNab, 22, all from the city, were found guilty of conspiracy last week after a seven-week trial.
