Missing three-year-old found safe and well under his bed
A three-year-old boy who was reported missing from his home in Abbotskerswell, near Newton Abbot was found safe and well - curled up beneath a pile of clothes asleep under his bed.
Devon and Cornwall Police received a report of a missing three-year-old at 9.15pm on Thursday 31 October. A co-ordinated search took place to locate the child utilising the Police Dog Unit, the police helicopter and Dartmoor Rescue Group working alongside local officers.
The boy was located under his bed after a second search of his home.
A number of local residents in the Newton Abbot area turned out to assist with the search and Devon and Cornwall Police said they were "very grateful for the response and offers of support" they received from the local community.
