Central reservation on Plymouth Road closed until further notice

The central reservation at the junction of Plymouth Road and Cot Hill has been closed until further notice.

Engineers have been investigating an electrical fault with the traffic signals at this junction, which stopped working on Saturday morning. Plymouth City Council confirms that the controller needs to be replaced and sourcing a new one is likely to take several weeks.

In the meantime drivers will not be able to turn right from Plymouth Road onto Cot Hill or turn right from Cot Hill onto Plymouth Road.

Signal timings at Plymouth Road/Larkham Lane and Plymouth Road/Woodford Avenue have been altered to reflect the extra traffic flow through these junctions.
