Albion to play season opener against Jersey
Plymouth Albion will begin their Greene King IPA Championship season with the opening match of a weekend double header at Exeter Chiefs' Sandy Park stadium on Sunday 15 September, kick-off 1.15pm .
The match against Jersey, which will also be shown live on Sky Sports HD, forms part of a Championship double header weekend with the game between Cornish Pirates and Bristol Rugby following at 3.30pm that same afternoon.
The match begins a twenty-three game league season.
Plymouth Albion say that for those supporters who cannot make the trip to Exeter on the Sunday, they will be showcasing the match live on the big screen in the newly named Midas marquee. Food will be available to purchase and the bars will be open.
Ticketing details for this fixture will be released in due course.
The opening weekend is preceded by friendly games during August against Exmouth and Worcester Cavaliers/Coventry at home, followed by Gloucester and Redruth A away.
