PCSO shot by BB gun in Torquay

A 24-year-old man from Braddons Hill Road East, Torquay, is due to appear before Magistrates in Torquay this morning following an incident involving an imitation firearm.

Mark Cook was arrested at lunchtime on Monday 15 April 2013 after a Police Community Support Officer was hit by a ball bearing fired from a gun.

Officers attended an address in the road and made the arrest a short time later.

The suspect was then interviewed before being charged with being in possession of a BB gun and kept in custody pending his court appearance this morning (Tuesday 16 April 2013).
