Plympton Boy robbed at knifepoint in Plymouth
Plymouth police are hunting for a robber who threatened a 14-year-old boy with a knife before stealing his bike.
The victim was pushing his BMX bike along Alexandra Road around 10.10pm on Wednesday 3 April when the robbery happened.
He stopped for a few seconds near to the junction of Bernice Terrace and Lipson Vale Hill and was approached by a man who picked up the bike. He pulled out what appeared to be a penknife and threatened to stab the Plympton boy before riding off on the bike.
Police are now appealing for information about the incident and are seeking the suspect who is described as white, aged 18 to 19, 5ft 8ins tall and of skinny build. He was wearing a black top with a white hood.
They are also trying to trace the customized ‘WETHEPEOPLE’ men’s BMX bike, which has yellow wheels, a white seat and a red seat post.
