First residents move into brand new Exeter development

An Exeter development has seen its first residents begin to move in – including a local couple who have bought their first home together.

Emily and Nathan are one of the first to move into Redrow South West’s St Michael’s Meadow on Chudleigh Road.

Emily grew up in the suburb of Alphington and loved the village feel and proximity to the countryside. When searching for their first home, a rural location with great transport links to Exeter was top of their criteria.

Impressed by the Redrow experience, Emily said: “Moving to St Michael’s Meadow was an easy choice for us – we love Alphington and know the area very well, so we knew we wanted to start the next chapter of our lives here.

When visiting the development, the couple were torn between the three-bedroom Letchworth, and the four-bedroom Stratford. After much deliberation, the couple were thrilled to realise they could afford the larger detached home, which would allow them greater space and plenty of flexibility.

Emily said: “It was important for us to have enough space to create separate offices as we both work from home, while still having space for guests, and The Stratford offered this.

“We also love to spend time at the Exeter Golf and Country Club, so it’s great that we are still close to all the activities we enjoy. We love the convenience the development offers, as we can easily jump on the motorway, and it’s only a short drive into Exeter city centre. 

“Redrow’s quality and customer service is second to none; they helped us through the whole process, and we have settled into life at St Michael’s Meadow very well. Everyone we’ve met is super friendly. We are excited to see the community grow!”
