Full complement for family law specialist as National Paralegal Awards shortlist is announced

The Family Law Company has been shortlisted in all five categories entered in this year’s National Paralegal Awards.

Rebecca Coombes and Emma Hawkins are both finalists in two categories: Paralegal of the Year South and Best Family Law Paralegal.

The regional award is given to a paralegal who has clearly demonstrated how they have exceeded client expectations and made a significant contribution to their practice. In the Family Law category, entries must show how they have gained a high level of experience, knowledge and skills to provide an exceptional service to their clients or employers. Rebecca was successful in 2021 when she won the Family and Newcomer categories.

In addition, The Family Law Company is in the running for Best Law Firm Paralegal Development, which requires demonstration of a commitment to diversity, plus the personal and professional development of all paralegals in the firm.

While the 2021 awards took place online, this year the finalists will be attending a ceremony  at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham on 22 September with the chance to meet other finalists, sponsors and the judges. 

This exciting news comes hot on the heels of Grace Bradley’s phenomenal win as Family Law Legal Aid Lawyer at the national Legal Aid Awards.
