Appeal after attempted robbery in Central Park
Police are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in Central Park in Plymouth late on the night of Monday 17th April 2017.
An 18-year-old local man was walking through the park at around 11.30pm when he was approached by an unknown man who asked him for a cigarette. The unknown man then threatened the victim and asked for his wallet and phone. The victim refused and punched the man who ran off.
DC Kieron Martin said: “If anyone saw any suspicious activity in Central Park around the time of this incident, or witnessed the attempted theft, we would like to hear from them.
