Man charged with assault in Plymouth

Police have charged a man following an alleged assault that took place at Latitude 52 apartments on Albert Road, Devonport just after midnight on Tuesday 26th July.

A 33-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his left forearm and required treatment at hospital.

Glynn Collier aged 44 from Hartlepool has been charged with GBH and being in possession of a bladed article in a public place and has been remanded in custody to attend Plymouth Crown Court on the 5th of September.

Two further people were arrested on suspicion of assault. A 43-year-old woman from Hartlepool and 30-year-old man from Plymouth have both been released on police bail until the 25th October pending further enquiries.
