Buyers in space race for parking lots
Two of seven parking bays at Queen Anne’s Quay in Parsonage Way in Plymouth have been sold with five spaced remaining available post-auction.
The spaces in an off-road location were among the West Country lots listed for sale by the regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson Auctioneers.
The larger of the two sold spaces went to a resident of Queen Anne’s Quay for £8,000.
Auctioneer Graham Barton said: “We anticipate interest from more of the residents because there is limited parking on site and of course the value of each apartment will be greatly enhanced by the additional of an extra parking bay whether a single or double.”
Graham added: “We had our busiest sales room for three years as our strong start to 2016 continued.”
Clive Emson Auctioneers, an independent company, holds eight rounds of auctions at five locations from Essex to Cornwall on consecutive days every six weeks, this time with a total of 170 lots.
Starting at 11am, the third of Clive Emson’s eight regional West Country auctions in 2016 takes place at the St Mellion International Resort, St Mellion, Cornwall, on Friday May 6. Entries close on April 4.
