Free entry in Community Football League

Footballers in Plymouth will find themselves saving money this summer if they join the area’s most popular 6 a side leagues throughout August.

Selected leagues across the town are run by Leisure Leagues – Europe’s largest provider of 5 and 6 a side football and they have waived the usual £25 entry fee throughout the rest of the month.

Leisure Leagues Executive Director, Stephanie Bullock said that the special offer was designed to make the League even more inclusive and community based: “We are aware that times are hard and we feel it is essential, as Britain’s leading provider of community football that we can involve as much of that community as possible and we hope that the free entry will mean more people will feel more able to join the leagues.”

All teams who take advantage of the free entry off and join the leagues will be competing for a prize package including cups, medals and champagne, all delivered in a presentation box to their door -  and all teams are able to enter the UK 6 a side Football Championships.

Each game will have a qualified referee and all equipment is provided and Leisure Leagues is the only league provider to donate their profits to charities and environmental projects.
