Witnesses sought following sexual assault in Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following an allegation of rape in Moor View Terrace, Plymouth.

A woman in her twenties was allegedly assaulted on Sunday 28 September between 2-2.30am. The suspect is described as white, 5’6 in height of small build in his twenties.

Police believe the incident may have been witnessed by a man who may have taken photographs near to the scene; we would like to hear from him. 

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who saw a man and woman together around 2:30am-3am in a car port behind the Premier Store on Mutley Plain.

A 21-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of rape and has been released on police bail.
