Super Sam returns

PLYMOUTH have taken another step towards completing their side for the new season by confirming that Sam Simota will be returning to the St Boniface Arena in 2015, writes Graham Hambly.

Simota was a regular member of the Skills Group Devils line-up during the past season and rounded off the campaign with a succession of high-scoring reserve rides.

The 29-year-old Czech Republic rider was keen to return to Plymouth for another season and co-promoter Ashley Taylor says: "Although Sam had previous experience in British speedway, last season was his first in this country for six years.

"So it meant that a number of tracks were new to him and he needed to get back to the pace of Premier League speedway.

"Even so, he finished the season in style and we look forward to even more success from Sam next year."
