Shanahan adds Mugford and Evans to clutch of new Albion signings
Plymouth Albion have announced the signing of fly half Dan Mugford from London Scottish and former player, hooker Gareth Evans from London Welsh.
James Shanahan, Albion's Head Coach told the club website: “Dan is a very talented fly half and he is a natural ball player. He is a similar type of player to me and I’m hoping to pass my fly half knowledge onto him.
“Gareth Evans is a good signing for Plymouth Albion. His season at London Welsh was interrupted by injury, but he was outstanding when he played for the Navy against the Army at Twickenham.
“Coming out of a Premiership club, Gareth will bring good experience to Brickfields. It is always good to see an Albion old boy coming back to the club.”
The signings follow the recent capture of Pale Nonu, Ben Woods, Heath Stevens and Tom Harrison as well as the signing of number eight, Rhys Oakley from Northampton Saints as a player/coach.
