Raiders sign new forward, Tom Woods
The Plymouth University Raiders basketball team have announced the signing of forward Tom Woods ahead of the new season.
The 6’5” forward played in Italy for two seasons and is a graduate of the Solent junior development programme.
New coach David Brock told the Raiders website: “Tom is a player who is hungry to make a name for himself and takes pride in being the hardest worker on court. His intensity epitomises the style of play that we want the team to adopt this season, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have signed him.”
Woods expressed his delight at signing for the Raiders. “I’m really excited to have signed with the Raiders for the coming season. This is something I’ve wanted for a long time, and I want to thank Coaches Marriott and Brock for giving me this opportunity. I cant wait to get started with the team.”
