Plymouth call in guest rider

PLYMOUTH will use Peterborough rider Lasse Bjerre as a guest replacement for injured number one Ben Barker in their Premier KO Cup semi-final at Ipswich on Thursday evening (7.30pm).

The inclusion of Bjerre will be the only change for the Skills Group Devils from the side that beat Ipswich by 11 points in last Saturday’s league match at the St Boniface Arena.
Thursday’s meeting will be the first leg of the semi-final tie with the decider taking place on Friday September 26.

Team manager Lee Trigger says: “The result of our league match against the Witches gives us an idea of what he need to look for at Ipswich. Ideally we would like to restrict any home win to single figures, but we know that anything around 12 or 14 points would keep the tie alive as far as we are concerned.”
