Boxall added to Spring Classic
PLYMOUTH Devils team manager Lee Trigger has today confirmed the 11th rider to be added to the Spring Classic Individual, writes Tim Locke.
Trigger said "It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have another St Boniface Arena track favourite in Steve Boxall, he always goes well around our place, at the moment he is not connected with any club in the UK.
"He was signed up for Belle Vue in the Elite League but for whatever reason he is now unattached and will make an excellent addition to this already impressive line-up on March 18th"
Boxall, who is now 28 has been in British speedway since 2002 and spent five years with both Rye House Raiders in the Conference League and Rye House Rockets in the Premier League, before doubling up with Elite League Poole Pirates in 2007 and Belle Vue Aces in 2008-09, He then went onto double up with Newcastle in 2009.
Steve has won the Conference League Riders Championship in 2005. He was also part of the Kent Kings National League side in 2013 where he won the National League Riders Championship in 2013.
