Warming Partnership Supporting Children’s Hospice South West

A heating and plumbing firm in the South West has announced a new partnership with Children's Hospice South West (CHSW), pledging support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the region.

Custom Heat South West, a leading provider of heating solutions across Cornwall, Devon, and Somerset, has committed to a comprehensive support programme for CHSW. This initiative will include not only financial contributions but also active fundraising efforts.

CHSW is a vital lifeline in the region, offering expert care and unwavering support to children and young people facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families. The charity operates three state-of-the-art hospices strategically located across the South West, ensuring accessible care for those in need.

James Cane, Business Development Manager for Custom Heat South West said: "We are delighted to be partnering with Children's Hospice South West. As a family-run business with a growing presence in the South West, we're committed to supporting our local community. We are really looking forward to developing an exciting partnership in the coming months."

The partnership will be officially igniting this autumn, where Custom Heat South West will be launching an initiative where 10% of every boiler service fee will be donated to CHSW when customers mention the charity at the time of booking.

Custom Heat South West is also looking to become a member of CHSW's Business Club; a network of local businesses who share a passion to give back to the local community by supporting CHSW.

Custom Heat South West offers a range of heating services including installation, servicing, and maintenance of various heating systems, with a focus on renewable technologies such as air source heat pumps and solar thermal systems.

CHSW has three children's hospices across the South West; Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in St Austell.

The charity is currently supporting more than 500 children and young people who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.

he hospices provide those children and young people with a place to visit with their families for short breaks, resilience stays, palliative care as well as end of life care and bereavement support.
