Poppy's Disney Princess wishes come to life

Hallmark have brought one little girl's Disney wishes to life, thanks to a competition that ran in Tesco’s across the country.

To celebrate the launch of the all new Beauty and the Beast cards by Hallmark at Tesco, to support the latest Beauty and the Beast film, starring Emma Watson, in March of this year, Tesco launched a competition that gave children across the UK the chance to design their dream Princess dress. The owner of the winning design would then win their dress of dreams in real life, along with another dress to share with a friend.

To enter, participants simply had to purchase any Disney card from Tesco and create a design on the competition leaflet, using as much imagination as possible.

When the contest reached a point of completion, the winning dress was selected, a fabulous blue and yellow ballgown, complete with a golden star trim and bow reverse. Courtesy of the fabulous Rubies UK, the Princess dress has been created!

On Monday 23rd October 2017, The designer, four-year-old Poppy from Bere Alston, Devon, attended a magical tea party, where her dream Princess dress was handed over for both herself and her cousin Libby!
