Police appeal following gang assault on three teenagers in the city
Police in Plymouth are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were attacked in the Southway Drive area of the city on Saturday (31 August).
At around 9.30pm, three teenage males aged between 17 and 18 years were walking from Frontfield Crescent to Southway Drive when two of them were shouted at and attacked by a large group of ten to 12 people aged between 17 and 20 years.
The two victims were punched and kicked by the group, before escaping and running away from the scene.
Police say that one of the main suspects from the attacking group was a white man aged around 18 years, 5ft 5ins tall with a slim build and blond collar length hair. He was wearing a tracksuit.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack or may know the offenders involved.
