Plymouth's 2025 panto will be played with gold!
Now that the lavish production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs starring Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph and broadcaster and barrister Rob Rinder has now come to an end, Theatre Royal Plymouth has announced that pantomime will be making a magical return in 2025 with Dick Whittington.
Join our hero Dick Whittington (and his trusty cat!) as he seeks fame, fortune and happiness on his journey to London to become Lord Mayor.
Packed with all the traditional pantomime ingredients audiences know to expect from Theatre Royal Plymouth, the action-packed pantomime promises laugh-out-loud comedy, plenty of boos and hisses and lavish sets and costumes from The London Palladium.
Dick Whittington will be produced by the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and the team behind this year’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Crossroads Pantomimes.
James Mackenzie-Blackman, CEO & Executive Producer at Theatre Royal Plymouth said: “We are thrilled to announce Dick Whittington as our next spectacular pantomime, following our most successful pantomime ever, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Pantomime is such a cherished tradition at Theatre Royal Plymouth, bringing joy and excitement to audiences of all ages. With unforgettable characters, dazzling sets, and plenty of laughs, Dick Whittington promises to be a magical adventure for everyone. We can’t wait to welcome families back for another season of festive fun!”
