Plymouth hosts a week of activities for Refugee Week

Refugee Week (running from 17-23 June) is a UK-wide programme of arts, cultural and education events and activities that celebrates the contribution of refugees to the UK.

As part of this, local organisations (including Plymouth University) have organised a series of events in Plymouth from 15-22 June. The programme opens with a football tournament (6-a-Side), stalls and family fun day at Brick Fields Sport Centre, Devonport on Saturday 15 June and ends with a fashion show, performances from dance, drama and music students, a tea party and an Acro Show on Saturday 22 June.
