Newbridge at Gunnislake to reopen ahead of schedule

Newbridge, at Gunnislake, will reopen to traffic from 7pm today (Tuesday 18 February), ahead of schedule.

The bridge was closed at the beginning of February when a van badly damaged the parapet and a section of the bridge.

Engineers and stone masons have worked hard to have the bridge reopen as quickly as possible.

Diversion signs will be removed on Wednesday morning.
