Man hospitalised after serious assault by two men and a dog
Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following a serious assault involving two men and a dog.
The incident occurred at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 24 September in the Stonehouse Creek area.

The victim, a man, aged in his early forties, was walking through Stonehouse Creek, past the social club, when he was attacked by a black Staffordshire bull terrier. He tried to kick the dog away and it then ran off.
As he continued to walk towards City College, two men approached him and assaulted him causing him to fall to the ground. The dog then continued to attack his face and head while the men held him down.
As a result, the victim sustained bruising and cuts to his face requiring stitches and his left ear was ripped. He attended Derriford Hospital where he was admitted for medical attention.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with any information regarding this incident or the identity of the two offenders.
One of the men is described as being white, approximately 5’ 6” tall, of stocky build and wearing a brown waist length jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
The second man is slightly taller with dark, possibly wavy hair.
Both men were aged in their thirties, spoke in a foreign language and were possibly Eastern European.
The dog involved is described as a large-built black Staffordshire bull terrier with a white flash somewhere on its front.
